how it all started
Wellness by Tess was founded in 2012 by Tess after she was diagnosed with autoimmune issues, sparking an interest in how food play a roll in our health.
Growing up in Sweden, where coffee and a cinnamon scroll (Fika) is a staple, we have always baked alot in our family.
Tess wanted to keep creating treats but without gluten, dairy and refined sugar.
Friends and soon cafe's started asking for her incredible treats and the business has grown organically since.
Proudly Australian owned, with a Swedish heritage, at Wellness by Tess we established our slogan as “Unbelievably Unnaughty” and are committed to develop products that are just that; incredibly tasty whilst still good for you and your health.
what we do

We use heaps of crunchy, chewy, smooth, melty, delicious and nutritious natural ingredients, combined without baking, so that you get all of the good stuff and feel good too.
Using minimal processing techniques and a devotion to all natural products, we promise to look after you.
Our range includes cake slices, probiotic bites and protein balls which you can find at a wide range of food service and retail outlets Australia wide as well as here.
We also contract manufacture and white label.Â
why we do it
We strive to be wholesome. Not extreme in any way, just plain and simple wholesome. We know that what goes in to your body affects your immune system, mental wellbeing and performance, so we thought why not make a product that can help make life a little easier by putting lots of goodness into each bite. We use organic produce as much as possible, don't bullshit, make every decision with the environment in mind and like taking care of people, including you.
Having a platform where we can make a difference, it is important for us to help those in need.
Therefore, we are a dedicated partner and regularly donate products to Second Bite.
In addition, several of our staff have been employed through an organisation supporting and empower at-risk Australians, particularly women who’s lacking adequate English to be able to find work.
