how it all started
Wellness by Tess began in 2012, when founder Tess was diagnosed with autoimmune issues — sparking a deep interest in how food can support our health and wellbeing.
Growing up in Sweden, where fika (coffee and a cinnamon scroll) is a daily ritual, baking was always part of Tess’s life. She wanted to keep creating the treats she loved, but without gluten, dairy, or refined sugar.
What started as a personal journey quickly grew — friends, and soon local cafés, began asking for her wholesome creations. From there, the business blossomed organically.
Proudly Australian owned with Swedish roots, Wellness by Tess carries the slogan “Unbelievably Unnaughty” — a promise to craft products that are every bit as delicious as they are good for you.

what we do
All of our products are gluten-free, dairy-free, and refined sugar-free — and they’re 100% suitable for vegans. We pack in crunchy, chewy, melty, and nourishing natural ingredients, carefully combined without baking so you get all the goodness and feel good too.
With minimal processing and a devotion to all-natural ingredients, we create treats that truly look after you.
Our range includes cake slices, cookies, bars, and protein balls, available through a wide variety of food service and retail outlets across Australia — and right here in our online store. We also offer contract manufacturing and white labelling for partners who want to share in our Unbelievably Unnaughty creations.

why we do it
We strive to keep things wholesome — not extreme, just plain and simple goodness. We believe that what you put into your body affects your immune system, mental well-being, and performance. So we thought: why not make products that make life a little easier by packing plenty of goodness into every bite?
We use organic produce wherever possible, avoiding fluff and false claims, and make every decision with the environment in mind. At the heart of it all, we care about people — including you.
Having a platform where we can make a difference matters to us. That’s why we’re a proud partner of SecondBite, regularly donating products to support Australians in need. We’re committed to creating opportunities, with several of our team members employed through an organisation that empowers at-risk Australians — particularly women facing language barriers in finding meaningful work.
